- "New" Pokemon in Nuzzling Platinum -

There are no new Pokemon (a.k.a. Fakemon) in Nuzzling Platinum, but there are 73 Pokemon from generation 5 and onwards in this rom hack. This page will display each of these Pokemon with information on where you can find them. However, it might be more fun to discover these Pokemon during a playthrough. If you don't mind spoilers feel free to look around on this page but consider this a spoiler warning.

Zigzagoon has been replaced by its Galarian counterpart because Dark/Normal is a more interesting typing than pure Normal, Galarian Obstagoon is generally more useful in battles than regular Linoone, and also just because personally I like Galarian Zigzagoon better than the original one.
The Pawmi line isn't the most popular Pokémon ever I believe and honestly personally I don't really care too much about it either. But Electric/Fighting definitely is a cool type combination and there was a surprising lack of fighting types in the Pokédex so those are the main reasons why they are included after all.
The Misdreavus/Mismagius line is perfectly fine on its own but that doesn't mean that Flutter Mane can't join the group as well.
You can evolve Misdreavus into a Flutter Mane by giving it a Rare Bone and leveling it up once. (That is not how it normally works at all but whatever.)
The Rare Bone is only obtainable very late in the game unlike the Dusk Stone you need to evolve Misdreavus into a Mismagius. So you can evolve your Misdreavus early if you want upgraded stats fast or you can keep your Misdreavus small until basically the end of the game if you want a very strong Pokémon for the final battles.
(Flutter Mane's stats are nerfed a bit to balance it out somewhat though)
Sandshrew is adorable and Ice is a cool type so in this game you can find both Alolan Sandshrew and the OG Ground type Sandshrew together!
Alolan Sandshrew is mostly found in the snowy areas near the 7th gym but there is a small chance you'll find one early in the game.
You can evolve Cubone into Alolan Marowak using a Fire or Dusk Stone.
Rockruff is here and you can evolve it into Lycanroc Midday or Lycanroc Midnight. The form will depend on the time of day when you evolve it but you can also force one of the evolutions using one of the evolutionary stones.
The Dusk Form isn't included sorry.
Donphan's stats have been lowered a bit but you can now evolve it into Great Tusk using a Dubious Disc or into Iron Treads with an Up-Grade. You can get one of these items by winning a battle against the Battle Clown in Canalave City or if you're not willing to take that challenge you can get them later in the game as well.
Not the most popular Pokémon out there but Dragalge is really awesome and underrated. If you want one you're gonna have to go out of your way to fish up a Skrelp since you obviously can't find these in the grass. But they aren't that rare to find in the waters so if you do want one they shouldn't be that hard to get.
Beartic is kinda boring but Cubchoo is adorable despite that little snotsicle so they are included in the game. Cubchoo is ill though so if you touch it you might get poisoned by its Poison Point ability so be careful.
If you ever encounter a bug in the game it's probably Joltik and Galvantula's fault. They used their electricity powers to turn some parts of the game into Bug type elements.
Phantump is the perfect Pokémon to live in Eterna Forest and it's very cute with a unique typing as well (at least for this game) just like Snom and Frosmoth so they deserve a spot in this game.
Tentacool and Tentacruel are still in the game but so are their land dwelling counter parts. They aren't that common but they can definitely become useful members of your team. Just keep them away from Ice types.
Delibird doesn't actually evolve into Iron Bundle but in this game it will if you give it a Metal Coat and level it up.
Iron Bundle's typing was changed in this game however to Ice/Flying from of Ice/Water because there already are plenty Ice/Water types in this game. Ice/Flying is more unique and interesting and weak to Stealth Rock so watch out for those.
We needed more Dragons so Axew, Fraxure and Haxorus were included in the game. Very cool looking Dragon Pokémon from generation 5 and Fraxure even evolves earlier in this game to make them an even greater battle partner.
The Deino line is the only new pseudo legendary included in this game. Deino isn't very good at listening however since it got the Truant ability but it does learn Dragon Rage early on so it's not all hopeless. And evolving it into a Hydreigon will definitely be rewarding.
Usually Zweilous evolves at level 64 but in this game that level is made a lot lower to make it a bit easier.
You can't find these Pokémon in the wild but there is someone in Hearthome City who can give you a Deino for free and you can also get one from an egg if you're lucky.

Helioptile and Heliolisk lose HP in harsh sunlight so it's a good thing Sinnoh is one of the coldest regions out there. No natural harsh sunlight here but you might want to watch out if the opposing trainer sets up a sunny day.
I personally love Mienfoo and Mienshao so I had to include them. Not a bad thing though because there weren't may fighting type Pokémon in this game originally anyway.
Just like some other generation 5 Pokémon the level required to evolve it is made lower than normal.
Another fighting type Pokémon from generation 5 that is very awesome and had to be included into this game. Fighting/Dark also was a type combination not yet present in these games.
While Cyclizar is one of the weakest Dragon type Pokémon in this game but it is the fastest. And since Dragon types are super effective against Dragon types the other dragons should still watch out for this little and normally overshadowed guy.
You can of course turn a Rotom into a Fire/Ghost type but Chandelure is way too awesome of a Pokémon not to include. Litwick is a common encounter in the Lost Tower on route 209 so don't skip out that area if you want one for yourself.
The regular Dark type Zorua and Zoroark is already plenty awesome but Normal/Ghost is more unique of a type combination and Hisuian form fits better in Sinnoh anyway.
It doesn't have its signature Illusion ability unfortunately but can still be somewhat illusive using Snow Cloak in hail.
Anorith and Armaldo are perfectly fine Rock/Bug type Pokémon but I like Dwebble and Crustle so they're here and they're here to stay so deal with it.
Bellibolt loses levitate on evolution but its a very funny looking Pokémon so it was included in this game together with the other Electric type Pokémon from generation 9.
Kingambit isn't included but Bisharp is plenty strong awesome on its own. You can't catch Pawniard until somewhat later in the game Bisharp can be a valuable member of any team as long as you keep it away from Fighting types.
Sandile is one of the greatest Pokémon ever created and if any sources tell you otherwise it is propaganda designed by gen 5 haters.
Or maybe not.
But regardless the Sandile line is very cool and Ground/Dark was another type combination not yet present in this game. You can find Sandile in the Maniac Tunnel near Veilstone City but you can also potentially win one from the Battle Clown in Eterna City earlier on in the game.
Tynamo, Eelektrik and Eelektross are levitating Electric types meaning they have no weaknesses. This combined with their cool designs deserved them a spot in this game.
Goats are very fun animals and Skiddo and Gogoat weren't included in any game after X&Y where they came out until Scarlet and Violet included them as well. You can make the same case for Blitzle and Zebstrika but they aren't goats so I'm sorry.
Very surprised it took them until generation 6 to make a Lion Pokémon and while they aren't the best designs in my personal opinion, they are still cool and we could use a few more Fire types so here they are.
Durant might seem like an odd choice for a Pokémon to include since Scizor is also obtainable and they kind of fill a similar function. But I have a soft spot for ants so I had to include the Ant Pokémon in the game.
While Garbodor is whatever Trubbish is very cute for a bag of shit.
You can only catch them after you learn how to Surf but in Oreburgh City someone will trade you a Trubbish if you bring them a Spinarak so you are able to obtain one earlier on in the game as well.
Nihilego can't be found in this region but someone in Veilstone City obtained one and is willing to give it to you if you just talk to them.
It even has Levitate so that 4 times Ground weakness won't be bothering you here.
